In most equations time is the stage that everything runs on. Time-Gel proposes the reverse: temporal flow is the most basic fabric, and density, structure, records and even a mind are what that flow leaves behind as it gathers and settles. This page runs Model C as written: one local flow law for every clock, a memory field for the past, and a threshold for structure. Where the manuscripts leave a rule open, the page marks its own default as a CHOICE.

Time leaves the role of a global parameter t and becomes a local rate T(ρI, Φ) that every process runs on: each law below is advanced with dτTG, not with dt. Model C keeps three things apart, and so does this page: the slowing of a clock, the build-up of memory, and crystallization (eq. 8).
Φ is scaled up by about 10⁸ so its effect is visible on screen; real values are near 10⁻⁹ at Earth's surface.
Clock offset compared with a clock far from all mass and at rest, from the formula on the left.
| CLOCK | SLOWER BY | PER DAY |
|---|
GPS satellites correct for about +38 µs per day of relativistic drift. Without the correction their positions would drift by roughly 10 km a day.
The manuscript says eq. (1) flattens galactic rotation curves without extra mass, through v(r) = √(r·dΦeff/dr). This card solves eq. (1) exactly for one compact mass and plots the result next to Newton. Move λ and read the curve; the same λ also reshapes the TIME FIELD φ view above.
For λ > 0 eq. (1) is a Helmholtz equation: φ − φ₀ ∝ cos(√λ·r)/r around a point mass. That lifts the curve for a while, then turns gravity repulsive in rings (red). For λ < 0 it is screened and the curve falls faster than Newton. A point mass is the simplest case; a real galaxy needs its measured mass profile.
Clocks A, B and C each carry the same pendulum, advanced with its own dτTG from eq. (2). Counted in its own τ every pendulum keeps the same period. Counted in the shared t they drift apart. Real clocks already behave this way: the laws hold locally, only the rate differs.

The first four rows are standard physics in a local frame (the equivalence principle). The Dτ notation changes nothing in them. The new content sits in the rows marked HYPOTHESIS, all taken from the manuscript.
In the manuscripts the observer is inside the loop: Hₜ → AIₜ → Hₜ₊₁, each observation changes the next input. Here, when the ring is INSIDE, measuring adds interaction intensity I to Γ, so memory forms faster under it and the next state depends on what was observed. The ring also models time: it cannot read τTG, so it estimates elapsed time by counting the change it registers, calibrated to the field's average. Cognitive science reports something similar: perceived duration tracks the amount of salient change processed (Roseboom et al., 2019), and busy, novel periods are remembered as longer.
In act 1 the clocks tick at full rate but nothing changes, so felt time stays at zero. In an average region felt time and local τ match (about 1×). Over a dense, slowed region the observer still counts change, so felt time runs ahead of its clock. The estimate is a model of the fabric, and it can be wrong.
Self-modelling is observable; phenomenal experience is not established (manuscript §7). This observer is a counter in the simulation, not a brain model.
Where it stands today: the framework re-describes known results in one vocabulary, and eq. (1) adds parameters (κ, λ, α, φ₀) that still have to be fixed by data. None of the tests above has been run yet. Until one is, this page is an illustration, not evidence.
Time-Gel is a research framework and a hypothesis, not established physics. The left-hand column is a model; the right-hand table is standard relativity.
